Addison Renee Duggar (born November 2, 2019) is the second child and first daughter of Joseph Duggar and Kendra Duggar.
She is the sister of Garrett Duggar, Brooklyn Duggar, and Justus Duggar.
Early life
Addison as a baby
On April 11, 2019, Joseph and Kendra Duggar announced that they were expecting their second child. Their pregnancy announcement was featured on the Counting On episode "Kendra's Got a Secret".
"We are ready to double the fun at our house! Being parents has already proven to be a greater joy than we had hoped or imagined. We love getting to parent together and are loving every moment and milestone. We are very happy that our little family will welcome a new addition later this year. Children really are a blessing from God!"
On May 30, 2019, Joseph's sister-in-law Anna Duggar revealed in the comments of her Instagram post that Kendra was due November 2019.
On June 25, 2019, Joseph and Kendra revealed that they were expecting a girl. For the gender reveal, they arranged for the inside of their son's smash cake at his first birthday party to be pink, signaling that his new sibling would be a girl. Pictures of Garrett with his cake were first posted on the couple's Instagram account on June 8, 2019, Garrett's birthday, but only in black and white. It is speculated that the couple had planned to share the news a day or two later, but postponed after Joseph's grandmother, Mary, passed away on June 9, 2019. Their gender reveal was featured on the Counting On episode "A Surprise Delivery".
On October 8, 2019, Kendra revealed that she was 35 weeks pregnant, putting the due date at November 6, 2019.
Her birth was announced on November 4, 2019. Addison Renee Duggar was born at 5:33 a.m. on November 2, 2019, in Arkansas. She weighed 7 pounds and 12.5 ounces, and was 20 ½ inches long. Her middle name is in honor of Kendra's middle name. Her birth was featured on the Counting On episode "A Baby Girl For Joe & Kendra".
