Josiah David Wissmann (born February 23, 1985) is the third child and first son of Loren Wissmann and Gloria Wissmann.
He is the brother of Rachel Busenitz, Ruth Bourlier, Bethany Beasley, Andrew Wissmann, Elizabeth Wissmann, Matthias Wissmann, Stephen Wissmann, Hannah Duggar, Susanna Jerred, Alaythia Wissmann, Nathanael Wissmann, and Charissa Wissmann.
He is the husband of Abi Wissmann and the father of their four children, Joanna, Asher, Jenifer, and Andron.
Early life[]
Josiah David Wissmann was born on February 23, 1985, in Seward County, Nebraska, to Loren Wissmann and Gloria Wissmann. He was the couple's third child, and they went on to have ten more children after him.
Along with his siblings, Josiah was homeschooled growing up. He graduated in 2003.
Josiah grew up singing and playing the guitar in his family's ministry, The Wissmann Family. They started their family band in 1999. They have recorded several albums. They often travel around North America on tour.
Josiah is described as vivacious, outgoing, faithful, tender, loving, caring, steadfast, wholehearted, and responsible. He enjoys drawing, reading, bowling, fishing, mechanics, music, sports, camping, running, weightlifting, motorcycling, shooting, hunting, flying, and being involved in his church and community.

Wissmann Enterprises[]
Josiah worked for his father Loren's business, Wissmann Enterprises in Milford, Nebraska. The business specializes in roof coating, sand blasting, painting, trenching, and excavating.
Pilot[]
Josiah is a Commercial Pilot and a Certified Flight Instructor. In 2005, he received his Private Pilot's license. On August 12, 2011, he received his Commercial Pilot's license. On January 18, 2024, he received his Multi Engine Pilot's license. On March 19, 2024, he officially became a Multi Engine Instructor. He has his Instrument Rating, which allows him to fly through clouds.
Prison ministry[]
Josiah volunteered with the men's prison ministry program, We Care in Alabama.
Construction[]
From July 2007 to August 2007, Josiah worked on a construction job in Cody, Wyoming.

Josiah works as a Crop Duster Pilot at Roth Aerial Spraying in Milford, Nebraska.
